Narayan Medical College & Hospital, Jamuhar, Sasaram is 1200 beded hospitals with all facilities. Hospital is headed by Prof. Dr. Punit kumar singh- Medical Superintendent.
It consist of enquiry office, reception counter, pharmacy and sitting area in O.P.D., chambers in O.P.D., audiometric room, refraction room, cancer detection room, child guidance room, fertility center, family planning center, rehabilitation center are functional as per M. C. I. norms. There are demonstration rooms for each department in O.P.D. area. Indoor beds of various clinical departments are available as per M. C. I. regulation. There is centralized computerized medical records department as well as computerized registration departments. Intercom facility is available. Daily O.P.D. attendance varies from 1000 – 1100 per day. Bed occupancy are more than 80% on average. Central emergency is fully equipped with life saving devices. All the I.C.U.s like medical, surgical, pediatrics, gynecology are as per NMC norms.

Critical Care Unit
Fully equipped ICUs are available with 25 beds in Medical I.C.U., 20 beds in SICU., 20 beds in NICU, 20 beds in PICU , 10 in Respiratory ICU, 10 in Burn ICUs , 20 beds in Obs & Gyane ICU and 20 beds are available in Cardiac ICU.
Operation Theatre:
There are 14 operation theatre for Surgery -02 , Orthopedics – 2, Neuro-surgery-1, Urorology 1,Obs. & Gynae – 1, Eye – 1, ENT -1, Septic O.T.-2, Casualty / Emergency O.T. – 1, CTVS OT-01, Endoscopy – 1. There are two minor OT in emergency & Seven in OPD for all surgical dept..
We have fully functional Cath. Lab accompanied by 7 experienced cardiologist and we have also started CTVS dept especially for pediatric cardiology.
X-Ray Department:
Two X-Ray of 60mA, Eight X-Ray of 100ma, Two X-Ray of 300mA, one X-Ray of 500 mA, One X-Ray of 800mA, Color Doppler, 2 Echo and 6 ultrasounds are available. CT scan of 16 slide is also available. Average X-Ray per day 375-400, Special investigation 8-10, Ultrasound 280-300 and CT scan 38-40. We have ultra modern M.R.I machine(1.5 Tesla).

It is functional in Emergency, I.C.U., N.I.C.U., P.I.C.U., and I.C.C.U. It is also functional in some clinical department.
Mechanical Laundry:
Fully equipped mechanical laundry is available with expert washer men.
Central Casualty:
Fully equipped central casualty with 40 beds, one major OT & minor OT. Consultant are posted in 24×7 beside other resident(PG).
Kitchen:
There is hospital kitchen at very affordable rate for patients and attendants. Economically weaker patients are provided food free of cost.
Central Hospital Pathology:
Fully equipped Central Hospital Pathology is located on ground floor of Hospital area having bacteriology, Histopathology, Hematology, Urology, Serology, Mycology, and Immunology& Parasitology.
We have fully functional NABL approved virology lab which has conducted 10 lacs RT-PCR test in 2 years. This is headed by experienced Microbiologist and expert technician.
Pharmacy:
